APPLICATION CRITERIA

Applicants should be Mississippi-based entrepreneurs or small businesses that have or are participating in the 2026 Statewide Pitch Competitions and are prepared to enter a structured accelerator focused on capital readiness and business growth.

Applicants should be able to clearly describe:

* Their business concept or current business operations
* Their current stage of business
* Their target customer or market opportunity
* Their growth, launch, or funding goal
* Any current or anticipated funding need
* Their need for assistance with business planning, financials, marketing, operations, or lender readiness
* Their willingness to participate in sessions, complete assigned work, and engage in one-on-one counseling

Strong candidates do not need to have everything completed before applying. However, they should show that they are serious, prepared to engage, and ready to use the accelerator to make measurable progress toward launch, growth, or capital readiness.

Applicants may be asked to submit supporting materials such as a pitch deck, business summary, business plan, financial projections, or other documents if available.
